Today I'm bringing you my May report. Everything is going just fine and I'm still not prepared to leave, but I doubt I will ever be... Even though April still stayed the best month, May was pretty cool too, so let me tell you about it.

5 random differences between my host and home country

Before I get to writing another diary entry I just had a quick post idea: today you can read about five random differences between Belgium and the Czech Republic that passed through my head. It of course doesn't have to be true about all Czechs and all Belgians, but this is what I experienced in my surroundings. They aren't in any order, I just put them in the article like that. So let's get on it!

April - probably the best of the months (4. - 30.4.)

Today I'm going to talk about my month of April, probably the best month I spent in Belgium. Why the best one? Simply because so many things happened and I really had no downs... My life in chocolateland jsut went up!

Pélérinage (28.3. - 3.4.)

I'm here with another photoblog, this time from my trip to the north of France (Normandie) that took place from 28th March till 3th April. I went with my catholic group "Oratoire", but it wasn't just tourism and prayers. It was much more and I have so many things to say. I'll keep it short here, though because some things are just too personal to write about. Anyways, let's see the photos!

Even though it's already april I'm still mentally in January and really don't want to leave. On Friday I'm celebrating 8 months  - it's insane! Anyways now I'm not here to talk about my double sadness and double happiness, but I want to show you how my mointh of March went by so quickly...

My trip to the UK (29.2. - 4.3.)

I'm here with another photoblog, this time from my school trip to the UK that took place from 29th Frebruary till 4th March. We had to wake up at 5am to go to the bus and we came back really late, so I was very tired. But again, it was woth it. We had fun, visited many interesting places, did some shopping... and photos!

February feels (11. - 28.2.)

How to get an exchange student to laugh till it hurts

After coming back from Paris, I had some difficulties with returning to my "old" belgian lifestyle with regular food and no exchange students... But after some time I got used to it again and my life went on more or less on the normal level of excitement. (That means everything got crazy as soon as possible.)

Paris (6. - 10.2.)

In the beginnign of February I spent a few days in Paris with other exchange students rom YFU and some volunteers. It was the first time in the capital of ranc for me and for many others and it was awesome. I'm going to show you lots of photos here and tell you where we've been, but the most important thing was we were together. And as I already told you many times, exchange studets are those people who understand you without speaking and you just need to know them for a few hours and they become your best friends. So even though Paris is really pretty, I enjoyed my company the best.

Belgian Christmas (14. - 30.12.)

I know I didn't write a lot the psat weeks, but there were no coments and there was so much happening in my life that I just prefered to tell you everything later, and later... and later. And than it was too late so I didn't want to write anything at all... But I'm finally here to wrap up my 2015 experience in Belgium so repare yourself for a long article with many, many photos. There were many days during the holidays when I just relaxed, blogged, read or went on a walk and there's nothing interesting to write about (well nothing not personal), so I'm just going to talk about the adventures of the Belgian Christmas time! The weeks of exams (30.11. - 13.12.)

Sorry for not posting much recently, but as you can see in the title, I had my exams the last two weeks... As I'm on holiday now, I can post more and I wanted to ask you if you'd like to read anything about my exchange year in general, exchange student problems or any other specific topic. I'd be glad to write a themed article for you guys! But without further redo, let me tell you about my exams!

The week when I accidentally got a solo (23. - 29.11.)

This week were the last days of regular school this year - the next week are the exams and after that there is holidays untill January. But even though there is always something to tell about the week, this time I'm joust going to explain you how I got a solo... Because it's really typical for exchange students to get things like this.

The "Toussaints" holiday and my birthday (2. - 8.11.)

This was my busiest week since I came to Belgium. I had a week-long holiday and I was glad that I didn't have much homework to do beacuse I wouldn't be any time to do it anyway. So let's just get started already!

The week with many photos (26.10. - 1.11.)

This week's update will be illustrated with lots of photos because I finally took my camera out of the case and started using it as I wanted before. During the week there was nothing interesting happening except school, but I guess that's not a thing I need to talk about every week, but it all started on Friday. That's the day I did a little autumn photoshoot with my Brazilian friend. Why so suddenly? Simply because the autumn colours are perfection - admit it! I also got a cup of hot chocolate (not for the photoshoot, but I used it there) and had a really good time...

The week with 24h vélo (19. - 25.10.)

This week was full of good and bad surprises, good and bad weather, good and bad mood - everything was really contrasting and special. But the most interesting things happened during the 24h vélo.
